New Pro Bono OR Project: BuddyHub CIC

BuddyHub CIC Project

Data collection and analysis

Project:

Improving data capture and management processes to ensure key performance indicators are monitored, leading to a more productive and efficient operation.

Project description:
BuddyHub are currently collecting a large amount of data related to their members, volunteers, referrers and the Friendship Wheel (see https://www.buddyhub.co.uk/howitworks/) creation and management process. This is kept within Excel, a database (Mongo DB) for their bespoke technology and various third-party software packages. They want to develop better processes around their data capture and management, and are looking for help in how to analyse and present the data so that  key performance indicators can be tracked and monitored, so that they can be more productive and run their service more efficiently.
Time commitment 5 days
LocationMostly remote working, but half a day at the start of the project and half a day at the end is likely to be required at London Road.

If you feel you are able to offer your assistance please complete the application form and return along with your CV to amy.hughes@theorsociety.com by 4th July.

The OR Society fully supports equal opportunities. As such, we welcome applications from the partially sighted or blind, or those with disabilities.

Information about the organisation:
BuddyHub are a Community Interest Community meaning they aim to benefit the public.  They work to create social circles of like-minded new friends for older people to help them live well as they age. BuddyHub aims to connect an older person with up to three like-minded Buddies (their volunteers), who live no more than a 30-minute walk away. Seniors and Buddies are carefully matched based on their interests and experiences. They can then get to know each other in a fun and flexible way.
